‘Fashion in Business’ during Mercedes-Benz FashionWeek Amsterdam

On Monday January 26th 2015, the network event ‘Fashion in Business’/ ‘Keys to Success’ will take place for the sixth time during Mercedes-Benz FashionWeek Amsterdam. This edition will be organized by FashionWeek Nederland and Enterprise Europe Network and will include a panel discussion by fashion experts with a focus on the fashion production outside The Netherlands (Europe, including Turkey). The guest speakers will cover trends and share their experiences, discussing topics such as:

• Why is a structured production essential?
• What is important for a well-organized production line?
• How do I find the right production partner?
• What are the keys to success for a good production?

In this next edition of Keys to Success knowledge, ideas and excitement with regards to production will be shared and will provide you the “Keys to Success” for excellent production. The panel includes prominent speakers in the field, such as Sabri Karatas (Alliance Mode), Petra de Jonge (fashion designer), Stefanie Bertram (Production consultant, former Commercial VP Gerber). The panel discussion will be moderated by Mark Terberg (International business advisor and impact manager, former Business director Dutch Fashion Foundation).

New this year: participants will speed date with (international) designers, fashion producers, agents, distributors and other people in the fashion network. These business speed dates will be randomly assigned, so prepare your elevator pitch! During these speed dates, including a walking dinner, there will be enough opportunities to network or to continue your speed date conversation. The event will be concluded by attending the closing event of Mercedes-Benz FashionWeek Amsterdam with the catwalk show of Marie-Claire presents II by Claes Iversen, one of the most prevalent designers of the moment!
