The Job

Our Fanwear business is looking for a Product Developer Fanwear. As Product Developer you are responsible for developing the new collections from design to FPS (Final Proto Sample). You take care of all stages of sampling and ensure the collections are production ready on the set deadlines in regards of quality, price and sampling.

Your Mission

•   You manage the process of new products. Development of new products must be 100% in line with stichd standards and follow the functional development steps. The stichd standards and expectations are based on quality, target price that meets market needs;
•   From the very first design meeting you are involved in the process, where you are expected to be the sounding board in regards of price-, technical and colour boundaries and revert with solutions to overcome those;
•   You are responsible for all developments within the seasonal collections as well the core collections and special requests, including the packaging of accessories;
•   You monitor the production process of the products during its product life cycle of all products and suppliers that can be anywhere in the world. Main objective to have the right balance between price and quality and never lose sight of stichd standards. You are challenged by going into the small details in order to have better prices without compromising the quality;
•   You are the main contact of the supplier and ensure a good coordination within stichd. For this you will have intensive contact with your colleagues within the Sourcing, Product Management, Supply Chain and Sales departments;
•   Responsible for the set up and maintenance of BOMs (Bill Of Materials) and measurement charts and sharing of those and any updates with the suppliers;
•   Research and development of trims, fabrics, and new fits in close conjunction with Design ahead of season release;
•   Fabric development and lab testing;
•   Sample management, fit sessions, colour approvals ;
•   Management of key dates within the collection program;
•   Price negotiations with sourcing/supplier.

Your Talent

•   Minimum Bachelor education in Product Development (Apparel)) or relevant working experience in a related field;
•   You have multiple years of Product Development experience, preferably in a sports-lifestyle industry or international organization with global brands;
•   A knowledge and understanding of our products and interest in Motorsport and/or Football;
•   You have a global supply base and global pricing/margin experience;
•   You have experience with lab test reports;
•   You have a basic understanding of management charts/specs/grading;
•   You have strong communication skills and you have a good command English, both spoken and written;
•   Excellent MS-Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and PLM.
•   You are creative in terms of solution-thinking to meet the customer wishes;
•   You are flexible and able to work in multiple projects at the same time;
•   You are organized, ability to prioritize and can work well under time constraints and deadlines;
•   You are proactive and a self-starter that is highly motivated to work in a rapid paced environment.

• Our salaries are based on 38 hours per week, but fulltime work is 40 hours per week. Instead, you can choose between a lot of holidays (3 days per year) ór you choose for a 40-hour salary per month with still 25 holidays. You can switch every six months;
