Dan Liu is a Chinese-Japanese Canadian stylist and designer. He is also the founder and the creative director of TATSUAKI fashion label. TATSUAKI Inc. was founded in 2002 and named after Lui’s Japanese name. Liu draws his inspirations for TATSUAKI designs from his Chinese and Japanese heritage. The TATSUAKI women’s line has since evolved into ‟Funky Couture”. In the spring of 2013, TATSUAKI collaborated with Haight & Ashbury to introduce a men’s line for the North American, European and Asian markets.
