Oakley, Inc., gevestigd in Lake Forest, Californië, opgericht door James Jannard in 1975, ontwerpt, ontwikkelt en produceert sportuitrusting en lifestyle-artikelen, waaronder zonnebrillen, sportvizieren, ski-/snowboardbrillen, horloges, kleding, rugzakken, schoenen, optische kozijnen en andere accessoires. De meeste artikelen worden in eigen huis ontworpen op het hoofdkantoor, maar sommige landen hebben exclusieve ontwerpen die relevant zijn voor de lokale markt. Oakley heeft momenteel meer dan 600 patenten voor brillen, materialen en sportuitrusting.
