Timex is the watchmaking company part of the Timex Group B.V. ( the corporate parents of several watchmaking companies around the globe including Nautica, Guess, Versace, among others). The history of Timex began in 1854 when the brand revolutionized watch making by applying cutting-edge production methods to a static industry, creating Waterbury Clock and Waterbury Watch. During the WW1 Timex were the watch manufacturer for the US army and later it produced the first and original Mickey Mouse watch. The Mickey Mouse watch is today a true collectors item.
