Woolrich is an American outdoor apparel and footwear company created in 1830 by John Rich. At the beginning the company was established to manufacture fabrics for the wives of hunters, loggers and trappers. Today, Woolrich offers footwear, blankets and four distinctive apparel collections ( Woolrich Original, Woolrich White Collection, Woolrich John Rich&Bros and Woolrich Woolen mills. Legend says that Woolrich was the first company to use a zipper in men's trousers. The Railroad Vest and Buffalo Check Shirt remain iconic products of the brand.
