Oberstaufen, October 2010. At the beginning of 2011, H. Obermeyer GmbH & Co. KG shall be expanding its existing brand portfolio in the children’s segment to include the KITZBERG brand. Creative and authentic children’s fashion with trendy designs, excellent quality and affordable prices are quite rare; however, that is precisely what the tradition-steeped Bavarian company is setting out to do as it breaks new ground in the fashion industry and closes the gap in the children’s clothing segment with the introduction of its new KITZBERG label for children. The brand will stand for an attractive, new brand world that offers a true alternative to the widespread monotony of the market. The new label will be available on the international market in the size range from 92 to 128, and for boys and girls between the ages of two and eight. The KITZBERG collection will also be supported from the very outset with a specially developed own POS concept.
“In terms of fashion, our new brand is up there with our renowned competitors such as Esprit edc youth, s.Oliver, Tom Tailor and MEXX. The brand is in the highly attractive lower to mid-price range for consumers with very interesting profit margins for retailers,” explained President and CEO Michael Obermeyer, speaking about his latest baby.
KITZBERG Style
The new, refreshing and different collection is absolutely child-friendly and authentic; after all, the designers have designed the clothes with those in mind who are going to wear them: the children. That means the appearance is important, but good friends and lots of fun are essential. The KITZBERG label stands for imaginative fashion that accompanies cheerful, open-minded, adventurous boys and sporty girls through the day. The individualism of the child has the highest priority here. KITZBERG fulfils the wishes of modern parents with a perfectly balanced offer of excellent quality, fashionable esprit and family-friendly affordable prices.
KITZBERG Shop Concept
In addition to its unique brand of fashion, KITZBERG also offers retailers an own store concept, either as a soft shop or exposed shop-in-shop model. Variable modules and POS materials, which are tailored to the individual sales areas, ensure the attractive presentation of the products. EDI and the regular presence and advice of sales representatives guarantee optimal support for the POS and optimum stock levels. The lucrative mark-up pricing at 200% and above is also especially attractive for retailers. In doing so, Obermeyer again underlines its strong partnership with the retailers.
KITZBERG Sales and Marketing
KITZBERG will be available for specialist stores across the world in January at the start of the Autumn/Winter 2011 orders and can be ordered through the ordering offices, as well as selected national and international fairs. The first deliveries will then take place in July/August 2011. In the future, it is planned to have four ordering deadlines and ten delivery times for the KITZBERG label. This step shall allow Obermeyer to supply attractive products all year round and set the company apart from other suppliers of children’s fashion. The market launch will be accompanied by extensive PR and advertising measures.
