Lulu Kennedy MBE Curates Special Projects Areas for CIFF SS17

For the coming SS17 edition of CIFF, northern Europe’s leading and most innovative fashion platform, Lulu Kennedy will be curating Crystal Hall as well as a special projects area inside RAVEN. Kennedy is the renowned founder and director of Fashion East & MAN, the Lulu & Co clothing line and Editor-at-large of Condé Nast’s biannual LOVE magazine.

Since 2000, Lulu Kennedy has helmed Fashion East, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to nurturing new design talent in the fashion industry. Selected womenswear and menswear designers are put on an intensive programme that includes a runway show on the official London Fashion Week and LCM schedule, one to one expert mentoring, and a Paris sales showroom.

Kennedy has guided and assisted in the evolution of Simone Rocha, Craig Green, JW Anderson, Roksanda Ilincic, Holly Fulton, Marques Almeida, Jonathan Saunders, House of Holland and Gareth Pugh.

Fashion East’s strong work fits well with CIFF’s continuous support of emerging designers and talents, which is evident every season.

The Crystal Hall and RAVEN special project at CIFF will be two creative, interactive and experiential spaces featuring a selection of womenswear and menswear that all come with Lulu’s stamp of approval.
