KOCHÉ and The Woolmark Company collaboration SS19
bezig met laden...
KOCHÉ showed its SS19 collection during Paris Fashion Week. This is the third time that Christelle Kocher has been working closely with The Woolmark Company.
Some wool knit pieces are hand-made by craftsmen, with a particular hooking technique. The wool fabric produced by Nakaden shows a square pattern with very lively colors. For this Japanese classic fabric, Christelle Kocher used a flocking technique usually reserved for sports jersey. Only the most specialized workshops have the skills to work with such high-quality flocking and to create these very lively colors with wool.
"Thanks to the support of The Woolmark Company, I was lucky enough to be able to meet partners in Bishu, Japan, a region famous for the wool manufacturing. This trip was very inspiring for me and I had the opportunity to collaborate with high-quality partners as Nakaden. This season, I wanted to work this exceptional material in a female/male spirit. The collection also proposes hand-made wool sweaters", said Christelle Kocher.
