Amsterdenim opens flagship store on Dam Square

AMSTERDAM, August 27th 2019 – “The best non-tourist attraction in Amsterdam”, is how they introduce their latest jewel in their denim crown. Amsterdenim has opened a stylish boutique shop in the heart of “denim city” Amsterdam. It offers an exceptional shopping experience for men, with abundant indigo blue, wooden details and gold-colored eye catchers. The store is situated on Dam Square 8, next to the Royal Palace.

The unique collaboration with downstairs-neighbors Naked Espresso, voted best espressobar in town, has led to the most complete Amsterdenim brand experience. It has become the home of several authentic Amsterdam brands for premium goods, like Pig & Hen bracelets, Adam Underwear, Mates Gold Rum and The Stillery.

Amsterdenim, a jeans brand established in 2014, offers a collection consisting of denim, T-shirts, jackets and sweaters. The Amsterdam personality of the brand can be found in many details, for example the signature stitching on the back pockets. It is stitched in the shape of the "Golden Bend", the most prestigious part of the Herengracht in Amsterdam. The rivets and button fly feature the crosses from the city’s Coat of Arms.

The “best non-tourist attraction in Amsterdam” refers to the multiple award winning “Amsterdam Jeans” campaign, a collaboration with De Speld. As written on the steps of the stairs leading up to the store: ‘Some tourists think Amsterdam is a city of sin, in truth it is a city of freedom.’ Exactly what the brand stands for and probably why famous Amsterdammers such as André Hazes Jr., Johnny de Mol and Douwe Bob like wearing it.
