Serious retailers always know exactly what goods are

on offer and they meticulously monitor marked developments. Orientation is always important, and in the current economic climate, a shrewd purchasing period is crucial. It may well be more important than ever before to make the right choices, especially given the ever-growing range of children’s clothing available. Registration for the approaching winter edition of the kleine fabriek trade fair is more or less complete, and the final stage of organisation is in progress, with inspirational and creative newcomers set to make their debut amongst established names such as Replay and Diesel. The fair will also feature a large increase in the number of brands of children’s shoes and accessories.

It is more important than ever to properly orient yourself and to get inspired. And what better way to do that than by attending kleine fabriek and getting a comprehensive picture of the market prior to the purchasing season? The majority of the established names in the market will take their place in the exhibition area, and as ever, they will be accompanied by numerous smaller and inspired labels.

Even now, no less than a month and a half before the opening of the fair, we have already received an overwhelming number of applications from potential exhibitors and we can report that the exhibition will be jam-packed with fantastic labels. A noticeable factor this time round is the large increase in the range of children’s shoes represented. On 16 and 17 January, in addition to familiar faces such as Metro Sneakers, Pantofola d’Oro, Diggers, Lacoste, Le Coq Sportif, Helly Hansen and Bardossa, we will also welcome a host of new shoe labels such as Onitsuka Tiger, Veja and Bumper. And there’s more to come! You will in due course receive an overview of information about all new brands that we are set to welcome to the exhibition for the first time.

The organisers of kleine fabriek are sorry to hear that the Just Kidz exhibition will not be held during the coming season, especially as we felt that both exhibitions complemented each other very well. The original goal of kleine fabriek – to offer a balanced mix of leading brands and creative newcomers in an inspiring setting – remains the core objective of the organisation.
