O'Neill - the original Northern Californian surf, snow and lifestyle
brand - is gearing up to unveil its new collection for Winter 2011/12.The new collection is the result of a close collaboration between our team of dedicated snow designers, pro snowboarders and freeskiers. In addition to the likes of legendary freeride snowboarder Jeremy Jones and TTR superstar Sebastien Toutant, the more recent additions to Team O'Neill including US rider Celia Miller and freeskiing world champion Ane Enderud all find themselves at the heart of our 'rider driven, rider proven' R&D program.
Within Europe, O'Neill's snow program continues to build on the solid foundations of previous collections, and now also benefits from the added support of a dedicated brand marketing manager for the Alpine region (Christian Wander) as well as another (Petter Levin) for the Scandinavian markets. As of Winter 2011/12, O'Neill is also planning to launch Hotspot, an approach that will see the brand sponsoring entire resorts to guarantee maximum visibility where it matters most.
In recent years, O'Neill has maintained a strong focus on delivering a global vision through its diverse, high performance product offering. Working side-by-side, regional headquarters across Europe, North America, Japan and Australia/New Zealand have been sharing the fruits of their labor and sources of inspiration in order to ensure our collections incorporate the latest trends, technologies and innovations emerging from all four corners of the world.
O'Neill will be organizing and hosting a number of clinics and testing programs for retailers aimed at showcasing the Winter 2011/12 collection and providing retailers with the information and tools required to get the most out of stocking O'Neill. Come early February 2011, O'Neill will once again also exhibit at ISPO in Munich, building on the momentum of the O'Neill Evolution - our maximum-rated TTR contest that takes place every January.
