A broad offer on a strongly segmented floor, an extensively designed decor and positive

vibes among exhibitors and visitors… all together this provided the success of the 13th show of kleine fabriek. In comparison to last Summer, the number of visitors increased with 9%. The percentage of foreign visitors (21%) was very high, mainly because of the number of Belgians and Germans travelling to Amsterdam. But also from France, Spain, United Kingdom and Denmark, Japan, Singapore and the United States retailers came to the fair. Both exhibitors and visitors were enthusiastic about the ca. 400 collections, the stands, the styling of the hall and entrance of the bright hall, the photo shoot and acts on the KF-stage. A few reactions from our exhibitors:

A for Apple (Jeffrey Chau): “Compliments to the organisation, because the set up and mood was absolutely amazing. I really feel taken care of. Once you get there, you don’t have to worry about a thing. Very impressive! A for Apple did well, especially the Belgians love our stuff.”

Kidscase: “There is interest for new things and we sense that the visitors dare to gaze around again!”

Van der Linden Agenturen: “The fair is splendid and this is, with all the day light, the most beautiful hall. The general atmosphere is beyond expectation and the response to Fun&Fun is fabulous, and also the Molo collection goes great again.”

La Miniatura (Jeffrey Sebelia): “This is our first time at kleine fabriek and it has been a wonderful experience. It has a very relaxing vibe, whereas the fairs in America can be quite loud and stressful. For example, the fashion shoot was good fun, but in general, de organisation of the fair is perfect. We’ll definitely be back!”

R.A.G.S. Industry (Gemma Hooijman): “It was a madhouse, because of all developments that we have gone through as a company, but the reactions are very positive.”

Bomba (Yvette Brekelmans): “For me the fair was more than good. Everyone sneaked by to check out the new boy’s collection. I have noticed that people walk about to determine where to spend their budgets, and that they really want to know what’s for sale. BombaforGirls still goes like a rocket and the reactions to Bomba Boys are beyond expectation!”

Adelheid – werkstatt des wahren glucks: “A well organised fair, everything is right and the cooperation with the organisation went smoothly. Moreover, the fair far more intarnational than we expected, but we would be happy if the home & gift segment would be even more strong in the future.”

SproutbyGro (Anette Nordrup): “We are glad we decided to participate. We saw a lot of international clients and press and that is exactly why we are here!”

JakeFischer (Rob de Vos): “Especially internationally there are chances for kleine fabriek. I am a frequent fair visitor and I think it is important for a fair to offer something extra. A beautiful fair floor with a broad offer is of course the starting point, but a fair visit is also about fun and entertainment and I think kleine fabriek is successful in doing so. There is a positive vibe, even if for me it could be even more flashy, with for example a DJ on the Floor. For the rest our experience at the fair was very positive, since the reactions to JakeFischer keep on being good and the girl’s collection was very well received.”

Papinee: “We’re a young brand, but are going global quite fast. We did well here at kleine fabriek, especially the first day. I have to say: the team has been phenomenal! Compliments to the organisation.”

Next kleine fabriek will take place on 15 & 16 January 2012. Save the date…
