Motivated by his experience and know-how in denim washings and finishings, Salsa´s founder, a visionary self-made man, made his own dream come true: to create quality, unique-fitting jeans, with a brand meant for people who enjoy a contemporary, worldly lifestyle. That is what Salsa stands for!

Salsa was created in 1994 and featured in multi-brand stores. In 1998, Salsa opened its first retail store, located in Norte Shopping Center, Porto Portugal. Since then, the brand has exploded onto the retail scene, achieving a leading position in the Portuguese and Spanish markets. The brand´s growing success is due to its outstanding, wide range of premium jeans, which solidifies Salsa’s position in the retail market as a high-end denim brand, identified by R&D pioneering, great-fitting apparel, comfort, authenticity and quick market response.

Today, Salsa is known as a true lifestyle brand, offering a complete collection of jeans, clothing and accessories in over 30 countries, through mono-brand stores, department stores and carefully selected multi-brand stores.
