The Mercer Brand is an Amsterdam-based footwear and lifestyle brand, inspired by American sportswear heritage, vintage athletics and contemporary fashion.

With a presence in over 750 retailers worldwide, flagship stores in Amsterdam and Paris, and a growing international community, we're building a brand that goes beyond footwear.

We're looking for a PR & Influencer Marketing Intern to join our team in Amsterdam.

The Role

You'll work closely with our marketing team to grow The Mercer Brand's visibility, build relationships with creators and media, and bring our brand story to life.

From influencer collaborations to international PR activations, you'll be involved in the day-to-day execution of our marketing strategy.

What You'll Do

• Influencer Marketing: Discover and connect with relevant influencers, content creators and brand ambassadors.
• PR & Media Relations: Support outreach to fashion editors, magazines, stylists and international media.
• Seeding & Gifting: Coordinate product gifting, influencer shipments and follow-ups.
• Events & Activations: Help organize brand events, collection launches and activations in Amsterdam, Paris and beyond.
• Brand Partnerships: Research potential collaborations with brands, creatives and cultural partners.
• Reporting: Monitor press coverage, influencer content and campaign results.
• Creative Input: Bring fresh ideas to the table for campaigns, partnerships and brand storytelling.

Who You Are

• Currently studying Communications, Fashion, Marketing, PR or a related field.
• Passionate about fashion, sneakers, lifestyle and contemporary culture.
• Naturally interested in social media, influencers and emerging brands.
• Confident in communicating with people and building relationships.
• Organized, proactive and comfortable taking initiative.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Dutch is a plus.
• Someone with a strong sense of aesthetics and an eye for detail.
