BIJORHCA PARIS
The next four-day edition is set to take place on 19–22 January 2018 for the new year’s leading industry event: BIJORHCA PARIS.
The international show will host around 350 brands, including about fifty new labels and 55% international exhibitors from some 30 countries.
A unique opportunity for the 12,000 expected visitors to gain a multi-sector overview of the jewellery industry and identify upcoming trends.
For this edition, the focus is on the new Artistic Director, Elizabeth Leriche, on new areas, as well as creative projects with the renewal of partnerships with LISAA x KISD and Chall’angel. No jewellery professional can afford to miss it!
ELIZABETH LERICHE, NEW ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Director of her own design consultancy and head of Fashion Trends at BIJORHCA PARIS for several years, Elizabeth Leriche will be the show’s new Artistic Director for the January 2018 edition.
With a new visual identity, reorganised layout and new colour scheme, Elizabeth Leriche is shaking up BIJORHCA PARIS’ image to ensure it meets the needs of each visitor.
She will re-design and refresh Fashion Trends and Elements Gallery with her teams to showcase and decode Spring-Summer 2018 trends.
AN EDITION THAT BUILDS ON SEPTEMBER’S FRESH IMPETUS
- AN EXPANDED TOP BUYERS PROGRAMME RETURNS to meet the needs of major buyers in France and internationally, who will also be invited to the show’s evening event to strengthen their relationships with exhibitors.
- A NEW TALKS FORMAT in collaboration with “Académie des Métiers d’Art”. A new workshop format will give visitors more opportunity to stay informed and swap ideas.
- CREATIVE PROJECTS: For the second time, BIJORHCA PARIS is establishing two partnerships to offer young designers creative challenges around different themes. The first project is a contest for students from LISAA art and design school (Paris) and Köln International School of Design (Cologne) to design different collections of 2 to 3 pieces around the themes of authenticity and transparency using wood, horn, mother of pearl, leather, latex, glass, plexiglas etc. The collections will be exhibited at BIJORHCA PARIS and the winning team will be announced during the show. The second is a jewellery contest for designers of costume jewellery through the Chall’angel online collaborative design platform to uncover the talents of tomorrow!
